Cushion-Cut Diamond Ring with Side Accents
About This Design
Auralith puts a cushion-cut diamond at its center, a square-shaped stone with softly rounded corners and brilliant faceting that gives the cut its distinctive warm, romantic glow. The diamond is held by double prongs at each corner, paired claws that grip the stone at four points, a refined touch of craftsmanship that sets the design apart from a more standard four-prong setting.
What gives Auralith its real signature is the band. Instead of small pavé, the shoulders carry a row of larger graduated round diamonds, each stone tapering smaller as it moves away from the center. The accents are set in a shared-prong style, meaning each pair of diamonds shares a prong between them, which creates a continuous line of sparkle along the shoulders without the heavier metalwork of individual settings. The shank itself stays slim and polished where it meets the back of the finger, so the visual weight stays toward the front of the ring.
Modern, clean, and slightly understated. Auralith is a design that pairs the warmth of a cushion-cut center with a more contemporary, statement-making take on side stones.

Pricing & Timeline
Because every piece is handcrafted to your specifications, pricing depends on your chosen diamond, metal, and design details. Your consultation will include a clear, itemized quote before you commit.
Production typically takes 4 to 6 weeks after final approval.
A note on sizing: pricing may also vary with ring size, as gold weight changes accordingly. For designs with side stones, the total number of stones and total carat weight may vary based on size. Please also note that, depending on the style, some rings cannot be resized after they’re made. Your designer will walk you through this before the design is finalized.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between a cushion cut and a princess cut? Both are square-shaped, but a cushion cut has rounded corners and a softer, pillow-like outline, while a princess cut has sharp, square corners and a more geometric profile. Cushion cuts read warmer; princess cuts read more modern.
Why double prongs? Double prongs (paired claws at each corner) give the center stone a more secure hold than a single prong at each corner, and they’re a subtle craftsmanship detail that signals careful design. Some people prefer the look; others prefer the cleaner appearance of single prongs.
Are graduated side stones unusual? They’re less common than uniform pavé but increasingly popular. Graduating the stones creates a sense of motion along the band and emphasizes the center stone, while uniform pavé creates a steady, even line of sparkle. It’s a stylistic choice.
Do you offer lab-grown diamonds? Yes, we work with both lab-grown and natural diamonds. Your designer can walk you through the differences in price, sourcing, and certification to help you choose what fits your priorities.
How long does it take to make Auralith? Typically 4 to 6 weeks from final design approval to delivery.
